Fuel pump bellows 
High-pressure pumps are required to supply fuel to direct-injection gasolineengines. These pumps can be designed as one- or multiple-piston pumps withoil-lubricated pistons. HYDRA precision bellows ensure that the fuel is not con-taminated by pump oil. For each piston, a bellows acts as a highly flexible sealand transfer element for pump movements. The bellows are mainly operatedin pressure-compensated mode and must execute over 12.000.000.000 pumpmovements over the life of a vehicle.
